Show Me the Money Day - Holland is returning with giveaways, valuable workshops, and connections with community financial pros! Free Event! Show Me the Money Day is a FUN + FREE event designed to help community members learn more about financial resources in the Holland area.Attendees will hear from local professionals through workshops on topics like managing credit and debt, budgeting, and exploring loans for cars and first-time homebuyers! Participants will also have an opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of local banks and nonprofits about their resources that can support them to become more financially resilient. Michigan Works will also be onsite and available to work one-on-one with individuals to create and update resumes. There will be snacks throughout the day, and attendees can win prizes! The first 50 guests to complete our event scavenger hunt can win a $25 Meijer gift card! Masking and social distancing will be required throughout the duration of the event, and guests must pre-register (at http://tinyurl.com/smtmdholland) to help with COVID-tracking. Additionally, no eating or drinking will be allowed in the building; box lunches must be eaten outdoors or in your car.
