JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A man who was shot while in his car Thursday in Fairfield has died. Kenneth Glavin Adams, Jr., 49, died at UAB Hospital two days after police found him with multiple gunshot wounds on Valley Road near Fairfield Blvd. The shooting occurred just after 10 a.m. Thursday. Investigators are still searching for a suspect and motive. Jefferson County Sheriff's Detectives urge the public to contact them with any information they may have on the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
