Job Summary: Loaders will be required to perform a variety of tasks in the dock area, with the primary responsibility being loading and unloading product by hand. Other duties will include scanning products on conveyor belts and sorting packaged product in the right staging area according to store number. Attention to detail is extremely important. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Employees will be required to load and unload freight as it arrives within a specific time frame. • Ensure all product coming off the trucks are handled with care, while making sure that they are placed on conveyor belt to be scanned and sorted throughout the facility in the proper location. • Loaders must ensure any paperwork is filled out correctly. Matching numbers, orders and completed on time. • Employees will be held accountable for loading and unloading freight with a set deadline. Minimal Requirements: • Ability to work independently. • Strong attention to detail. • Must be able to meet deadlines and follow all safety protocols. • Must have reliable transportation Physical Demands: • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
