Austin based General Contractor is seeking a qualified candidate for a Construction Superintendent position. JOB SUMMARY The Construction Superintendent oversees and supervises the daily execution of construction activities on a designated project. This position supervises and coordinates all phases of activities for the projects including safety, planning, and scheduling field personnel as required in order to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • High school diploma or its equivalent and at least ten (10) years of field experience on new construction, renovation and/or tenant finish-out • Ability to read and understand engineering plans and drawings • Ability to read and maintain a project schedule • Must be able to motivate the jobsite team and coordinate trades • Leadership and training skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using a computer or the ability to learn how to use a computer • Strong work ethic, punctual and reliable • Experience in healthcare construction is preferred LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS • Valid Driver’s License • OSHA Training (preferred but not required) • CPR/First Aid (preferred but not required)
