Local Contractor looking to fill various Landscape Crew member positions Job Description: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand tools, backpack blowers, hedgers, and weed eaters. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Gather and remove litter. ##Dispose of trash or waste materials. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, hedge or brush trimmers. ##Operate grounds maintenance equipment. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, blowers, clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. ##Operate grounds maintenance equipment. ##Drive trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. ##Irrigate lawns, trees, or plants. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners ##Trim trees or other vegetation. ##Operate grounds maintenance equipment. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, parking lots, fountains, planters, drinking fountains, pavilions, or other grounds features Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. ##Cultivate lawns, turf, or gardens. Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds. ##Clean facilities or sites. ##Trim trees or other vegetation Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. ##Remove debris from work sites.
