Covid 19 Art display.

Covid Yard display. What prompted you to make this Covid yard display? I was having some trouble early in the pandemic with some of my customers in my store not wearing a mask. I was a bit uncomfortable with asking them to put one on. As a result I came up with the idea to make a large covid ball and hang it in the middle of the store, so then all I had to do was point at the ball and say we have Covid here so you better put on your mask. It worked great, With A little bit of humor it got the point across. So why the display in your yard? For years we have put crazy fun stuff in our yard. It started about 10 years ago when an election was near and I had some signs made that said “ Vote Yes On No” and another said “Vote No On Yes”. The point was made just to go out and vote. With the lockdown I had a lot of time on my hands and decided to improve on the 1st Covid ball and do a second one, and then a 3rd and now we have 7 total. Two at the store and 5 in the Covid tree. We also put a sign “Wear Your Mask” under the balls. I also made a giant Pfyser Hypodermic needle to promote the end of this pandemic being within sight. Our roommates don’t like to park under them. LOL How long will the display be up? Once we get this thing behind us I was thinking we could take them to a shooting range and shoot them up. Then I got the idea to contact a Pyrotechnics company to blow them up with fireworks when California comes out of the lock down. For now I will probably hang them in the Game store. The B Street Theater used one for their “New Year’s Eve Covid Ball drop” that they streamed live bringing in 2021. That went Viral, Pun intended. They look awesome
