Small Farm/Property Assistant

We are looking for a person to help with our small farm/property. We will need you to be available 4-5 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday. Hours are 8 am - 4 pm with some flexibility. A 30-minute lunch break is applied toward work hours. Cell/smart phone use during lunch break only. Responsibilities: Maintain the farm grounds and buildings (indoor/outdoor), make basic repairs (paint, general construction, household, landscape, etc.). Handle and maintain machinery including, but not limited to, zero turn mowing, string trim, chainsaw work, etc. Plant, cultivate/weed, prune, mulch/compost, harvest vegetable and fruit garden. Keep the house (clean, dishwasher, laundry, some cooking, etc.) Animal/pet care (two horses/two dogs) Requirements/Skills: Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to follow directions Willingness to learnInitiative and able to work independently Positive attitude Physical strength and stamina Ability to lift 50 pounds Animal friendly Smoke-free 18+ years old COVID-19 vaccinated or scheduled to be vaccinated Previous experience in the farming industry (preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License
