Kent Hicks Construction Company is seeking an entry level carpenter to join our team! We specialize in building energy efficient homes; Passivhaus new-build, Deep Energy Retrofits of existing structures, and high-performance historical restoration. We are looking for someone who would like the opportunity to learn and grow with our company. While this is an entry level position, the right person could work into a carpenter's assistant position. Applicants would ideally have some basic carpentry experience and possess basic hand tools. You must have reliable transportation, and be motivated to demonstrate attention to detail, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude. A willingness to learn and a strong ability to process information quickly and accurately is required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly. We offer competitive pay scale, paid holidays, IRAs, and a friendly, stimulating environment. Our projects are primarily in the Hampshire and Franklin counties, but we are beginning to work in Berkshire County as well.
