ITNLehighValley, a nonprofit organization, is hiring part-time paid drivers to transport seniors to and from appointments. Drivers must have a minimum of three days of availability each week (5 ideal), and will work an average of 10-20 hours per week. Paid drivers must be comfortable driving throughout the entire Lehigh Valley; demand is currently greatest in and around Allentown, but drivers may be asked to drive in any Lehigh Valley zip code. **Drivers use their own vehicle and receive a mileage stipend** CURRENTLY SEEKING DRIVERS FOR THE FOLLOWING: - Daytime (some early mornings and evenings available) - Week Days - Weekends (limited) REQUIREMENTS: - Clean and reliable vehicle - Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance - Clean driving record - Three years minimum driving experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: - Punctual and able to carefully follow ride schedules - Comfortable and familiar with Lehigh Valley roads - Kind and compassionate when working with seniors - Safe and careful driver - Reliable week-to-week - Excellent communication skills **Flexible schedule great for retirees, college students, or anyone looking for supplemental income while making a difference** Base hourly rate of $9.50/hour + mileage. Weekends and before/after hours rides $11/hour.
