APPLY ONLINE at Mighty of Virginia is seeking a hard-working and trustworthy individual for an auto parts delivery driver position with our company. This 40 hour per week position would be 3-4 days a week and starts at $10.00/hr. Duties will include large deliveries to high-volume automotive and lube shops throughout Virginia and DC. The stock that is to be delivered will be unloaded by the driver by hand and stocked on the shelves at the lube shops. Once the unloading and stocking is completed, entry of the order into their inventory system will be required. In addition to those duties. This is a labor intensive position where dependency, accuracy and efficiency are a must. All applicants MUST have a clean driving record, be computer literate and have a demonstrated ability to work within a team. When delivering products you will be calling on auto repair shop owners/managers, so people skills are a must. Applicant should be self-motivated, flexible, and have great time management skills. Delivery driving, warehouse, or automotive experience is a plus. Delivery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 7:00am through the completion of the days route. Hours will vary when driving a delivery route. This position requires: • A valid VA driver’s license • An excellent driving record • Comfortably driving and maneuvering a 16 foot box truck or delivery van in any driving conditions. • The ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted • Standing for long periods of time, bending, stretching, reaching, and walking • The ability to pull, check and pack orders (from small orders to large pallets) • Unloading freight & stock goods • Sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to stocking procedure • Maintaining relationships with current customers by providing excellent customer service and being available to answer questions and address concerns • The ability to utilize computer software for processing and printing orders • Adherence to company policies and procedures In addition, uniforms will be worn and grooming standards will be in effect to provide an image of professionalism at all times.
