Description
BEWARE of multiple ads that is worded similar but a small detail changed like animal, bred etc.
1. Don't send anyone your information. If the person will only text or wants your real email without any additional information, its a scam.
2. Don't provide bank account information.
3. Don't accept money transfers for "shipping pick" fees.
4. There is plenty of pets here, why have one shipped. 99% of the time it is a scam or a busted backyard breeder or puppy mill who can no longer operate in their area.
5. Don't accept a verification text code etc.
6. Look at the pics in the ads- This is the desert. Does the surrounding look like here. If not- it is a scam, stock photo stolen photos etc.
7. Crazy stories like "we moved out of state and cant keep my pet anymore", "I had this pet for a year and I am allergic to it" etc. those are all red flags.
7. Do a reverse engine search on the photo. tineye.com
8. If the price is way to go to be true, its a scam.
