Essential Functions include Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact Make sandwiches quickly and accurately for in-shop customers and in-house delivery staff Neatly wrap or bag sandwiches for customers Help assemble deliveries for customers and assign to delivery drivers Help with prep-line setup and restocking as necessary Foster a teamwork environment Help clean the store, kitchen wares and equipment as necessary Adhere 100% to all Jimmy John's product specifications Adhere to all food safety, health regulations and occupational safety guidelines Operate cash register as necessary Additional Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Perform basic computer operation including cash register operation and proper cash handling Memorize product recipes and prep requirements for approximately 20 sandwich menu items plus approved modifications Communicate clearly in English Communicate with team members on the line while assembling sandwiches Lift up to 30-40 lbs. during shifts Stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift Be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F Always follow food and personnel safety standards Benefits Full and part-time schedules available Growth opportunities to shift supervisor (Person in Charge), Assistant Manager and General Manager Health insurance (including optional Dental and Vision) and paid time off for hourly full-time and salaried positions Meal discounts or free meals (depending on schedule hours worked) Choice of 15 locations around metro Denver with our franchisee store group No stoves, no fryers...
