Cat located in this city: DeLand, FL Cat’s Name: Big Red He is approximately 8yrs old Male Animals vetting history: Neutered, Microchipped, Rabies vaccine, Flea Treatment Animals story and Personality: This is Big Red! He has had a rough journey through homelessness. We started feeding this neighborhood stray three years ago. Big Red was in bad shape, anemic and sick. But we fattened him up and had him neutered and vaccinated. He lived on our porch, and five months ago we were able to let him inside. His favorite thing to do now is to sit between us on the couch and be petted. He just loves attention and affection! He shows his gratitude with purring and cuddles. Big Red is estimated to be 8 years old. He loves to chase the ping pong ball and laser light. He only has a few teeth but eats dry food fine. He has FIV but is otherwise healthy. FIV is not contagious to people or dogs. It is only passed to other cats through a deep bite. He coexists with our many other foster kitties and is just fine. The ideal adopter for Big Red is a retiree with a calm home. He will make the best companion! *Looking for a stable INSIDE only home for this sweet guy.
