C&T Advanced, Chester, VT is growing. We are in search Heavy Equipment Mechanics. We have positions open for maintenance and repair of diesel equipment in the shop as well as in the field. Responsibilities and Duties: Travel to sites and work in the shop to make electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as trucks, loaders, excavators, etc. The ideal candidates will have experience with diesel heavy equipment repair, will be able to determine what parts and tools are needed for repairs, use a tablet to run diagnostic test, complete shop paperwork, maintain a safe and clean work area, perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs as well as preventative maintenance. Qualifications: Candidates will have a high school diploma or GED certificate, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, 2 to 5 years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment, work well with others, and self-motivated. Welding experience is a plus. Salary and Benefits: This is a full time position Monday thru Friday 7-5, some weekends are a must. We offer one week vacation after one year.
