Roemer Steel Foundry Longview, Washington Responsibilities and Duties: Sort metal Swing sledge hammers (4 to 8 Ibs) to clamp molds, size determined by the mold Overhead crane operation, hooking up rigging chain to crane hook (approx. 35 lbs. from floor to chest height, moving large castings, molds and molding equipment through the foundry Pour metal up to 2,970 degrees, shaking out molds Shop clean up, sweeping, shoveling sand, shoveling alloy (up to 50 lbs. on end of the shovel), be able to lift 50 lbs, and miscellaneous tasks as assigned. You will be working in dusty and warm environments with noise exposure up to 85 dbs For an average of 8 hours a day Requirements: No educational requirements; on the job training will be conducted. Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay will depend on experience
