Location: Portland, OR (97211) FT/PT Status: Full Time Shift: Day Hourly Rate Class A: $26.00 Hourly Rate Class B: $21.00 Hourly Rate Class C: $19.00 United Salad Co. currently has openings for our Driving Team! Come join one of the largest independently owned regional produce distributors for over 80 years in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking motivated drivers with Class A, B, and C licensure. If you are fresh out of driving school, we will train you! - Most of our drivers are home every night! - Overtime availability - 401(k) - Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate - No layoffs in 75 years! - Robust training program to teach you our process from product received to product delivered to our customer These positions qualify for a new hire bonus of $1,000 after meeting required eligibility. We invest in our employees! If you are fresh out of driving school, we will train you! Responsibilities: - Deliver Product from warehouse to customer in a safe and timely manner - Stack, palletize, move, and organize product - Verify product against invoice and POs - Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers - Serve as customer liaison to promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with co-workers - Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: - Valid license (Class A or B or C) with interstate qualification - 40+ hrs./week with two split days off - Must have weekend and holiday availability - Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen including THC - Ability to operate a manual stick shift Lifting Requirements: - Class A, B, and C occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
