We are looking for a technician helper to install security cameras, access control and service calls. Our newest team member will be running CAT-5/CAT-6 cables in commercial, industrial and occasional residential environments, mounting and adjusting security cameras and working with our team to ensure customer satisfaction at every level. Responsibilities - Installation of network based surveillance cameras, mounting of cameras, cable, conduit, configuration, fine-tuning of cameras, and setting-up camera recordings on DVR or NVR. Running Coaxial cables and terminating. -Good customer service skills; ability to communicate with our customers to fulfill their needs. Developing a positive relationship. -Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, ceilings, and exterior walls -Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections, dead cameras, etc -Operating Boom and Scissors Lifts and ladders -Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices -Keeps supplies ready and ORGANIZED. -Getting in and out of attics quickly and carefully -Training provided for specific installations and services. Some travel will be required. Requirements -Knowledge of basic home structures -Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Desire to always do things the RIGHT WAY, not the easiest way -Pride in every aspect of your work -Understanding of basic networking -Flexible availability -Able to take direction and eager to learn new skills
