We both saw than man on SE 49th across from GES around 4:30pm yesterday (4/12/21) kick his black and white spotted pit mix in the flank and yank on his leash in order to force him into his seafoam green ~2004 lexus SUV. The dog was so sweet looking and was holding a toy very gently before he was beaten. I wanted to intervene but the man was large and had beefy calves. I felt and still feel useless, and all I can hope for is a safe home for the dog. You had orange hair and a really awesome black outfit. I reported him to the Oregon Humane Society's website, and called a hotline. I think you should too, if you feel comfortable with it. I got his license plate so hopefully that will help. I don't know if you even use craigslist, but I hope this finds you.
