Description

MODERN REGGAE/ROCK BAND COASTAL ENVY
SEEKING KEYS We do a blend of straight up modern reggae songs, Marley songs, covers turned reggae, and originals. Influences:
Bob Marley, Stick Figure, The Elovaters, The Movement, Iya Terra, Common Kings, Sensi Trails, Iration, Tribal Seeds,The Expendables, Rebelution, Clear Conscience, Pepper, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, SOJA, Sublime with Rome,....and of course various roots classics You should know and like some or all of these bands and should know how to play that style. Singing backups/harmonies would be an excellent addition as well but not required.
Candidates should be: EXPERIENCED - You have played/play reggae and know the style well DEDICATED - You are willing to put forth the the time and commitment to practices and learning the material RELIABLE - You show up to scheduled practices and come prepared with the material we picked to learn. You have decent communication skills and respond to texts/phone calls in a timely manner AVAILABLE: - Must be able to practice once a week. Must be available to do gigs on weekends, especially Sunday afternoons/evenings in the summer as it is the biggest reggae gig day at the shore. Ideal age of candidate would be between 21-50, but open to anyone that can play and we gel. No need to rent out a practice space or haul gear, we practice at my studio in Media, PA. Looking for players with a good musical work ethic that will treat learning the material seriously. The idea here is to have fun first and foremost, enjoy making/playing reggae music, and treat this with a certain level of professionalism and get paying gigs! Hit me up for a tryout!
