Dependable Auto Parts - Automotive Parts Dismantler Dependable Auto Parts is an auto recycler supplying southern WI and northern IL with used auto parts, service, and repairable and rebuilt vehicles. Our family-run business is looking to hire an auto dismantler to join our team. The auto dismantler will be primarily responsible for removing salvageable parts from vehicles and other duties as listed below. Qualifications: Automotive background - willing to train the right candidate Mechanically inclined Must have own tools including air impacts Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and work under pressure Ability to work independently Duties: Dismantle vehicles Use hand and power tools to remove parts Preserve condition of parts Drain fluids such as gasoline, oils, and antifreeze Test mechanical components Tag all parts Inspect parts from outside suppliers Pull the wire from vehicles Assist with inventory control Keep work area clean Other duties as assigned Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Work with tools Walk, sit, stands, bend, and move intermittently in automotive environment Working Conditions: Automotive environment Handle used automotive parts Work with automotive hoists and jacks Work with hand and power tools Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pay is hourly commensurate with experience PLUS incentive bonuses. If you work hard, you will make more money!
