We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Installer. In this role, you measure each installation area, prepare the surfaces, and install cabinets according to specifications. We expect all of our employees to maintain a clean workspace and take pride in their finished product. All applicants must have experience using hand and power tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Cabinet Installer Duties and Responsibilities 1) Installers are responsible for reading all paperwork for each unit installed. Including run lists, and cabinet drawings / detail paperwork. This is to be done before starting any unit. 2) All cabinets are to be set plumb, level, square and straight 3) Job-site Superintendents and Southcoast Cabinet job-site Foreman are to be notified immediately of any framing, plumbing or electrical errors that would prevent them from completing each unit. 4) All screw caps are to be installed on interior screws 5) Wood tops and fillers are to be scribe fit to the walls 6) All miters and moldings are to be cut to join tightly. No misfits or gaps. This includes splices 7) Sink cut outs are to be made on rough tops when taking tile counter tops 8) All doors and drawers are to be adjusted 9) All nail holes are to be filled and wiped clean when putty is provided 10) Screw holes are to be drilled on doors and drawers when taking knobs only. When taking pulls, do not drill. 11) All units are to be cleaned out of any trash and cut off material at the end of the day and placed in the nearest dumpster. If no dumpster is provided, the trash should be placed in the garage. Any salvageable material may be placed on top of the base cabinets. 12) Installers are to sign their name on the bottom of the hood cabinet 13) All OSHA and Job-site safety rules and regulations are to be strictly adhered to PLEASE CALL 909-594-3089 AND ASK FOR MELISSA OR SCOTT FIBROW
