Available Shifts Shift: 1:00 am – 9:30 am Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Shift: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Shift: 7:30 pm – 4:00 am Job Description Veterans Distribution of Chicago in Hillside, IL is in need of Warehouse Laborers to start immediately! Under general supervision, performs routine manual labor duties in a warehouse environment, such as receiving and processing incoming freight. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Process, package and ship orders accurately Organize stocks and maintain inventory Inspect products for defects and damages Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments Organize warehouse space Receive, place incoming inventory items appropriately Check, verify and fill customer invoices Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Keep warehouse clean and organised daily OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language. Proven warehouse experience Ability to operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Team player with organisational skills Knowledge of proper safety measures. Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly. Job Type: Full-time, Monday thru Friday The salary is commensurate with experience.
