Yard General Laborer - Jerome From printed work orders, the primary purpose of the Yard General position is to safely assemble packages of various building materials from the lumberyard inventory and stage the materials for delivery to customers. A Yard General employee may also be called upon to unload shipments of inbound product from vendor trucks or rail cars and put away the material.  They will also be required to assist in delivery of products and may assist in the installation of multiple products. If so, the list of attributes and experiences below should describe you and be reflected in your application and resume: Forklift Certified (or become so within 30 days) The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
