We are seeking an apartment maintenance technician for our garden style apartments. Immediate position available for a skilled maintenance employee for a property management company with the following qualifications: Full Job Description: Understanding or experience in three or more basic trades HVAC Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Appliance repair, Carpentry, Landscaping, or Pool Operations. Three or more years related experience required. Requirements: Must have 3-5 Years of work experience. Solid interpersonal skills, along with excellent communication skills, must be proficient in the English. Good listener and able to accurately transmit information. Proactive self-starter and a team-player. Reliable, highly organized, attention to detail, courteous, friendly, hardworking, and professional. Eager to learn and take on additional responsibility. Extremely dependable and reliable, must be flexible to work during emergency situations. Must have own tools, car and have a valid driver’s license. Must be available weekends if needed or scheduled to work. The ability to use power tools and use in a safe manner for snow removal and power washing the deck. Must know to Install/replace pipes, fittings valves, fixtures—such as sinks, toilets and water heaters Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment. Assisting with troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, IT panels, motors, and circuit Helping to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems such as: access control panels and components, lighting, and power supplies. Perform carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing, and building shelves, sanding, and refinishing floors, as well as exterior and interior painting. Work Schedule: • Monday to Friday 8am-4pm • Weekends (On Call) Experience: • Maintenance of High Rise or Garden Style Apartments: 3-5 years (Preferred) Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) For more details regarding the position feel free to call us on 973-228-2119.
