Paul Douglas Floral Designs, a high-end, professional floral shop in Cohasset, is seeking a talented, skilled design Assistant to join our team. Only candidates who possess the following qualities need apply: - Enthusiastic and energetic - Pleasant and outgoing personality. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask. - Able to accept direction as part of a team concept. - Posses excellent customer service skills. - Prior sales/customer service experience preferred. - Computer literacy a must. - Must have valid, unencumbered driver's License with a clean driving record. -Be Creative and have a passion for Flowers Responsibilities to include (but not limited to): • Assist clients, both by phone and in person, in the selection of fresh flowers, plants and foliage for various special occasions such as weddings, funerals, birthdays, holidays, etc. • Floral design, with the ability to maintain the client's budget and preferences in mind. • Select appropriate foliage, plants, flowers, etc in making arrangements, terrariums, dish gardens, sprays, bouquets, wreaths. • Processing of fresh flowers and plants for retail sale, including arranging displays, pricing and merchandise tagging. • Wedding, Holiday and Special Event Set up (some lifting involved). • Maintain a clean and inviting work environment. • Stocking and inventory management, including the appropriate processing and storage for live flowers and plants. • Some local delivery. • Have a flexible work schedule to included weekends and extended holiday hours.
