Very sorry to report the cat is deceased. Appeared it had been hit by a car. At 130 in the morning we noticed two cats in the road. The one laying there and the other (looked mostly sand colored) standing next to it. We turned around thinking we should remove it from the road so the other cat would hopefully not be hit hanging around State St. also. When we got back to the one, the other was gone. We will report it to the humane society in the morning and have them pick it up from our place. Again, if this was your kitty we are very sorry for your loss
