Let's Start a Retro Band

Lead singer with amps. mics and tower speakers wants to start or join a retro band. I am talking Beatles, Stones, Lovin' Spoonful, Rick Springfield, Mamas and Papas, QMS, Charlatans. Let's bring back the tunes that made people want to come out to dance and sing. Monterrey, Woodstock, if you dig this type of music, let's do this! I was a lead singer in a group called May, back in the late 70's. We came in second in a Battle of the Bands, got airplay on WQFM, if you recall that station, and unfortunately, As Lennon says, "life got in the way" and I gave it up. I want to get back into it, see where this goes, and have FUN! I am a writer by trade, so I am capable of writing songs that reflect today's values or yesteryear dreams. Think WKLH here. I can be dynamic on stage, my vocal range is more like "Things We Said Today," or "Summer in the City,"and I am good with tambourine and some keyboard. This is the type of music that gets people excited, it is popular and in demand, and at the very least, we could make some decent scratch just grooving this music. I can travel, and I am willing to do what it takes to make this work, whether it is a traveling band or a Grammy band. The time is now. If you are serious, let's text or talk text/call .
