Ranch Hand needed ASAP for Ranch in Southern California. We are looking for someone to be responsible for upkeep of 9 horses. The person we choose to hire will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, general maintenance and some handyman tasks. We also own other animals to include dogs and farm animals. Although the upkeep is minimal with these additional animals, the ranch hand will need to also maintain them. It is our desire for the Ranch Hand to live on the premises. We are offering a salary (est. $350-$425 per week) plus a private residence. Although the worker will have a set schedule, there may be an occasional need for the ranch hand to alter his/her schedule, with advance notice, to accommodate owner travel preparation of the horses. Please provide a resume or detailed timeline of past employment as it pertains to this position. Keep in mind, this position is for someone with extensive experience with horses. Do not apply if you do not have the ability to confidently handle and strong knowledge of horse maintenance. We need someone to start ASAP with very little training. Indicate in your response, the length of time needed before you would be able to come on board full time.
