I am currently a stay at home mother while taking classes at SFCC. I have three kiddos, ages 4, 7 and 10. I am home and available to help with care for students who may be still be virtually learning and need a place feel supported and secure while doing so. Or for students who need after school care. My 5th grader has an alternating schedule mo-Friday and I can imagine this leaves many parents struggling with students not yet permitted to return to school full time. We have a large home near Woodridge elementary with both an upstairs and downstairs that your student will have to utilize as a working space. Very kid friendly home full of supplies and crafts your student will have access to if needed, lunch and snacks provided. 30 dollars a day. This will vary depending on needs I have references to provide, as I used to watch kiddos in my home prior to working for Spokane public schools. I have been on leave due to being at risk for Covid and have since dedicated my time to returning to school online. I ask that your child knows to show respect and practices standard manners/etiquette - as they would at school. We have activities such as basketball to play outside, chickens to chase in the backyard :), lots of space to run and rid of wiggles, toys, games, books galore inside my home, movies to watch and a few sweet pets to enjoy their time with while here including three dogs and a cat (all very kid friendly) Serious inquiries only. I’m flexible with time and just ask that you be understanding when events come up for our family such as doctor appointments etc that may cause my availability to be limited once in a while, as I am a mother of three and tending to their health needs is priority for me. Communication will be a must and notice will always be given if this is to occur. Thank you :)
