Join us with Alan Schreiber to get a comprehensive lesson (complete with sampling!) about ASPARAGUS! It's springtime and that means Asparagus Season is upon us. We have such bounty in this region and we are so lucky to have such great farmers - what better way to celebrate this than try out more asparagus than you knew existed (literally 20 different kinds)! Alan Schreiber and his team will be here to teach you and taste you through all sorts of asparagus, while we will head up the wine pairing portion. Does asparagus go with wine? It's... complicated. Tickets are $40 for two people and include a bottle of wine (you get to choose which one from several offerings), lots of asparagus, as well as a lecture and a wine tasting comparing and contrasting what different types of wines do to the flavor profile of asparagus. For those who attend class, asparagus-leaning foods will be available for pre-purchase to enjoy with class. We hope you can join us!
