First Choice Medicar is a Non Emergency Transportation Company that's been in business for over 15 years. We work throughout the Chicagoland area. We are currently looking for drivers that possess the following: A Sense of Responsibility: The driver should have a good sense of responsibility and adhere to safety requirements when driving, be courteous to clients, and treat goods with care. Alertness: The driver must be alert at all times and able to be responsive to the road and driving conditions. They must ensure they are well-rested and able to handle the task at hand. Your safety and our clients safety is a high priority to us. An Ability to Work Independently: The driver may spend times alone while waiting for the next call and therefore must be able to handle being alone and having sole responsibility to manage the time efficiently. An Impeccable Driving Record: The driver must have an excellent driving record to provide our company assurances of safety for all drivers, vehicles, and our clients. Good drivers are also cheaper to insure and keep costs of vehicle operation down. Customer Service Skills: This is our #1 priority. If you feel like you aren't customer service orientated, please DO NOT respond to our ad. Our drivers must have excellent customer service skills when dealing with our clients. We provide door to door service and go above and beyond for our clients. Maintenance Skills: Our drivers should be able to perform maintenance tasks that help ensure that our vehicles are kept clean at all times. There is NO smoking in any of our vehicles. Physical Stamina: Our drivers should have good physical stamina to be able to assist with wheel chair clients, when necessary. Stress Management Skills: Rush hour, driving long distances, and meeting pick up or drop off times expectations, can cause stress. We need somebody that can work under pressure at times and easily manage stress. Timeliness: A driver should ensure that they can consistently pick up or drop off our clients on time. As a part time Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a non emergency transit motor vehicle and providing excellent customer service. Your primary objective will be to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation. We are here to exceed our clients expectations and provide the best service in the Medicar Industry.
