Simulated traffic stops for drivers with autism and other disabilities The Autism Foundation of Oklahoma, AutismOklahoma.org's Piece of Mind program, and the Moore Police Department are partnering to offer simulated traffic stops for drivers with autism and other disabilities. Drivers with a learner's permit or state-issued driver's license will practice being pulled over by Moore PD in a safe and controlled environment. WHEN: Wednesday, April 28th 3:30- 5:00 pm WHERE: In the parking lot of Moore's old community center located at 301 S. Howard, next to the public library. Use the 4th St exit from I-35. WHY: To reduce anxiety and prepare drivers for a real-life traffic stop by a police officer, and provide local law enforcement agencies with the opportunity to establish relationships and positively interact with individuals with disabilities.
