Delta Daylighting is currently seeking professional Lead Hydrovac Operators to join our team. The Delta Hydrovac system is a non-destructive method of excavating as an alternative to mechanical equipment or hand-digging.. Most work will be out of town with minimal projects in the Houston area. Training will be provided for people with a desire to succeed, are clean cut, and can pass a drug and alcohol test. Delta Daylighting drivers will drive an average of 20% of the time. Drive is to and from work site. Once at worksite, work is performed at location and drive time isn't until the end of the day. Drivers will be asked to perform the duties as the technician. Delta Daylighting Requirements: Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsements Must obtain or have the ability to obtain TWIC Industrial services experience (heavy lifting, equipment operation, confined space) preferred Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Previous experience operating Vacuum/Hydro Blasting units preferred* Lead Operator Requirements Leadership experience required Mechanical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges. The person in this position will need to be a team leader and the ability to relate well to a wide variety of people. Must have a professional approach to business. Willingness to follow Delta's best practices with focus on 'Best Operator, Best Truck'. Must possess and exhibit strong safety acumen. Mechanical inclination. OSHA 30, TWIC, H2S, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Basic Plus are preferred. Why Delta?
