They are actually closed due to COVID-19 and will open the morning of our tour, giving us the chance to view all room categories and have the hotel to ourselves for a period of time. Back in the day, the Beatles were coming to Seattle on their tour, and every hotel refused to allow them to stay on their properties, as they felt they could not have adequate security to protect the band from their fans. The Edgewater graciously opened their doors, and then became famous from the photos of the band fishing off of their balcony! With unmatched views along the water’s edge, The Edgewater offers a refreshing change from the typical downtown Seattle hotel. Our over-water luxury hotel features some of the best dining and sunset views in the city, thoughtful amenities, weekly live music, waterfront and city view guest rooms and suites, and an ambiance enriched with art, architecture, and a rich musical history. Seattle’s Only Over-Water Hotel City lights behind us, Puget Sound below us, and the Olympic Mountains due west of us – our location is one-of-a-kind. The house the Beatles built; where rock ‘n’ roll legends lay their weary heads to rest.
