We are long-time pet foster parents starting our own rescue organization (Chattanooga Dog Rescue), and Ben is one of our firsts! Ben was found abandoned with a dirty rope tied around his neck. He was dirty, had mites and worms, but was friendly! We had him neutered, microchipped, and put up to date on his shots. He also had a vet visit to address his pests and was put on medication. He's ready to go now! About Ben: He is a super friendly and fun dog! He has that puppy energy and loves to play. He is great with other dogs and kids. He is not a leash puller, as he wants to stay near his humans. He is house trained, and only ever had accidents at night. We started crating him at night and he has done really well. He sits by the door, or uses the doggy door when he wants to go outside. He really enjoys laying around in the sun. Watch out though, he can be a plant destroyer. Puppy's know how to be naughty sometimes, and he should be crated or locked away when left alone. He is a really sweet and intelligent dog. Ben would be great for a family looking for a friend for their dog, or as an only dog with an active family.
