Newton Landscape Group is a full service landscape company owned and managed by Landscape Architects and Horticulturists. We are currently searching for a high energy, dependable and hardworking, landscape focused individual. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, AND PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN. To be successful in this position you must: - Use your landscaping experience and people skills to lead crew members - Ready to work in all weather conditions - Exhibit excellent communication skills and work ethic - Work closely with other crew members to perform tasks necessary to keep accounts in excellent condition - Exhibit knowledge in landscaping - Exhibit general knowledge of grading, planting, bed preparation, plant material, mulching, pruning, and laying sod - Display knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers, weed trimmers) - Applicants are expected to be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. - Overtime and Saturday work are required seasonally and otherwise as dictated by weather Compensation: - This position is full time - Compensation will be commensurate with experience - Benefits include paid holidays and vacation as well as company matched IRA and other financial incentives based on performance Required: - 2 years of landscape experience - Reliable transportation - No email applications will be reviewed - Driver's License with a clean driving record - Pass pre-employment drug screen Applicants that meet the above mentioned criteria should contact Kevin Latusek (225)756-4321
