Myers Restaurant Supply, LLC, a division of Edward Don, a Leading National Foodservice Equipment and Design Company has an immediate opening for a Receiver. Our warehouse is rapidly growing, fast paced, focused, and exciting. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has the ability to multi-task, enjoys a friendly, supportive and social environment. GENERAL SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for routine picking, receiving, shipping, and packing of sales and project orders in accordance with established policies and procedures. Physical requirements include sitting, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing a ladder. Other requirements include strong reading comprehension, good typing and numeric key entry skills, and possess knowledge of database software, spreadsheets, and word processing. Perform other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Maintain a positive attitude and support the morale of your team members  Type up to 40 words per minute (wpm)  Unload and receive product safely manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks  Lift up to 75 lbs.+ with support from the team  Use of a cutting knife to open cartons, read packing slips, and count items  Verify items using material costing software with sales and project orders  Break down product and palletize for loading or shipment  Build smallwares packages for restaurant openings and replenishments Properly tag all items and pallets  Check completed work for accuracy  Assist with dispatch scheduling and/or deliveries as required  Communicate any damages or discrepancies to the Inventory Control Specialist  Support front counter sales and warehouse staff with daily orders, customer pick-ups, project staging, and project loading, as needed  Search and validate product counts as requested by Inventory Control  Actively maintain a clean, organized warehouse Competitive salary commensurate with abilities and relevant experience.
