Join our 6-person installation team! Material Handling Installers is looking to fill a role with someone that brings a good attitude, a team mentality, and the willingness to learn. The team installs different types of racking systems throughout the southeast United States. DRIVER’S LICENSE. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our office before heading to a job site. You must also have a valid Social Security Card and Birth Certificate for payroll purposes. EXPERIENCE. You MUST have experience using hand tools such as impact guns, hammer drills, rachets and wrenches, and be able to read a tape measure. Prior warehouse rack installation experience and/or forklift and scissor lift experience is a definite plus. Due to work safety issues, we request you have no past injuries that could hinder your ability to work safely! NO FEAR OF HEIGHTS. Safety is our top priority and all jobs require steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hard hats, and other PPE as necessary. The nature of the work occasionally requires you to work 22’ plus off the ground while tied off in a scissor lift or inside the racking. COMPENSATION. Starting base pay is $15/hour paid weekly with opportunity for raises based on performance throughout the year. Receive an additional $5/hour as a job supervisor. Get paid $12.50/hour for drive time when you are the driver for the company vehicle. Wages may be adjusted based on experience level. You are eligible for overtime pay, job bonuses, annual bonuses, 8 paid holidays, and 5 days of paid time off after 500 hours of service. PAID TRAVEL. Unlike most installation companies, Material Handling Installers pays you for your travel time on the road for out-of-town jobs and meal allowances. Trips can last up to several days and while most jobs are during the day, you need to be flexible as some jobs are scheduled during evening hours or on the weekends.
