He took aim at the Texas Republican again this weekend in an interview with CBS, where he said he doesn’t like to "beat anyone up" but added that Cruz is a "jerk" and accused him of "making a lot of noise" but not being very productive in Congress. Sen. Ted Cruz went further with his criticisms of John Boehner after the former Speaker of the House told Cruz to "go f---" himself while recording audio for his new book earlier this year. "I think he was probably recording at 9 or 10 in the morning, so obviously, he had too much wine that day already," Cruz said on Saturday. "This guy is a little unhinged." Reports surfaced in February that Boehner told Cruz to go “go f--- yourself” while recording his audiobook, which Cruz pushed back on during the Conservative Political Action Conference.
