He is taking money away from VA facilities to give to the for-profit health companies who made political contributions to him. 2. He has insulted POWs, and the families of the fallen. 3. When our Special Forces were killed in Niger, he joked that they were killed by real fighters. 4. He has bragged about how getting his deferments, he is smarter than those of us who served. 5. He publicly stated that not getting VD in college was his Vietnam. 6. During the 2016 campaign, he promised he’d donate to veterans. He didn’t. It wasn’t until this came to the attention of the press that he finally made a donation. 7. He wants to use Millions of dollars to have active-service warfighters march past him and salute him in a parade. 8. While President Obama would fly overseas to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with our service members, Mr. Trump says he is too busy and then plays golf. After two years, he made one short post-Christmas visit to an airbase. 9. While in France on the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I, he cancelled a visit to a cemetery to place a wreath on the grave of a US soldier because it was raining. [Presidents Obama and GW Bush stood in the rain to honor our war dead on several occasions each. 10. Trump has broken the tradition of Presidents paying respect, on Veteran’s Day, at Arlington Cemetery. After criticism, he showed up for 15 minutes in December, 2018. 11. His Thanksgiving Phone Call from his golf resort to the Troops was all about him, and his complaints about the courts. 12. He bragged (lied) to our warfighters that they just got a 10% raise (it was 2.6%) and that if was the first raise for the military in 10 years (they got raises every year). Congress is responsible for military pay rates, not the president, anyway. 13. Trump appointed the first non-Vet to head the VA (who has since resigned for corruption).
