This event is to raise awareness and support for mental health, during Mental Health Awareness Month. This event is being held to raise awareness and financial support for organizations that are assisting citizens that suffer with mental illness including: Bethel Temple of Praise Deliverance Center inc, Spindletop, and Lamar University. These organizations fight for laws to benefit the citizens that suffer with mental illness, offer free counseling, give training for police to appropriately approach citizens with mental illness. This is a great chance to show your support and contribute to citizens who deserve equality.
