Being HPPM’s “quality control” leader requires attention to detail and a willingness to consistently follow up with Vendors and Contractors. Daily activities for our Project Manager will involve Contractor scheduling, Vendor oversight and management, property inspections, unit walk-throughs, punch/acceptance, etc. Additionally, our PM will be responsible for all administrative tasks related to the Maintenance Department. Individuals interested in the Project Manager position will possess a high level of energy, a professional image and superior communication skills. A preference is given to individuals with supervisory experience in construction, trades, or multi-family/hospitality management. Must enjoy working for a mid-size, yet rapidly growing firm with high standards for accuracy and excellence in their work. Core Accountabilities/Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Vendor/Contractor Scheduling and Management. • Acceptance of Units from Construction or Remodeling. • Inspect available “market ready” units, communicating related service needs to Maintenance or Contractors. Monthly Property Inspections. • Manage Capital Projects and Schedule. • Management of Key System and Process. • Administration for Maintenance Department. • Assist Maintenance team with other various tasks as required. • Maintain open communication with Property Manager and Maintenance Manager. • Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community on continuing basis. Minimum Qualifications: • Education level: High school diploma or equivalent • 3-5 years of Project Management or Trades experience • Highly motivated individual with exceptional organization skills who can work with considerable independence • Strong commitment to a team-oriented approach • Strong personal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management Work Environment: • Business casual, fun and positive, dynamic and fast paced • Schedule has some flexibility but will generally be Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm, no overtime
