Description
Stanford University and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System are seeking participants, ages 18 - 35. We hope to learn if short flashes of light are capable of changing the timing of the internal circadian clock as does continuous light.
Two separate lab stays each consisting of:
-- 2-day/night stay at the VA Sleep Lab
-- 2 weeks of at-home sleep monitoring using a wrist-watch device
In lab performance will be tested using flight simulation software.
Participants must be healthy, non-smokers, without sleep problems, between 18-35 years old. Compensation up to $700.
