OUTRAGE OVER KENT MIDDLE SCHOOL DESTROYING SWALLOW NEST. I was in total awe over this past weekend at the 100's of swallows building their mud nest on the end of the new middle school building closest to the athletic fields. We went through this bad behavior by the school district last year destroying these nest before all the newborns had gained their wings. So here we go again, my walk at the school tonight (Monday) I observed the new nest building over the weekend had already been destroyed. There is no reason these creatures couldn't be allowed to hatch a new generation in the 4-6 weeks they occupy the upper exterior wall space. Granted it is messy but it is so short lived that I feel my tax dollars going to clean up the wall after the birds have all hatched is well worth the NATURE experience.S
