💜 A Place For Your Preschooler To Learn: I have an opening for 1 or 2 children in my Montessori program. This is a small, home-based half day program for children age 3 to 5 years. The small group size allows for activities that really cater to the individual needs and interests of the children and allows for maximum individual attention for each child. 💜 About Me and My Program: I have 35 years of experience as a Montessori head teacher and curriculum supervisor and teacher mentor. I also present workshops on A Montessori Approach to Behavior Management In The Classroom and Developing Inner Direction In The Montessori Child. I’m currently mentoring 2 first year teachers and teaching an online preschool class in the afternoons. I live on the Belmont/ San Mateo. I have materials to teach math, language, writing, science, art, an abundance of themes and more! I specialize in creating challenging, yet interesting curriculum that provides a solid academic foundation for my students’ future school experience. As a lifelong Montessorian, I embrace methods that encourage dexterity, concentration and self-confidence. I have created comprehensive units covering zoology, botany, geography (all continents, landforms and oceanography), astronomy, the four seasons, community helpers, health and sense of self, astronomy, science, holidays and more!
