JJ Sauter Trucking is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time/year-round position in a fast-paced diesel shop. Ideal candidates must have experience performing maintenance and minor repairs on large diesel equipment, trucks and trailers or equivalent, must be a quick learner, and possess the ability to follow and understand directions. Full Time - Monday-Friday, (occasional Saturdays) Qualifications: -General maintenance and repair experience -Experience on heavy trucks and equipment -Quick learner and can follow directions -Must have valid license Requirements/Duties: -Performs general maintenance duties on trucks and trailers -Grease, replace oil/filters, brakes, tire, and perform minor repairs -Inspect and diagnose mechanical/electrical failures -Ability to move and/or lift 70+ lbs.
