Two German shepherd mixes. Mom and a daughter. Would be amazing farm dogs. Not made for an apartment. Recently moved from a farm into an apartment and they aren’t adjusting. The mom use to be potty trained but is refusing to outside. The daughter has been doing amazing however she’s never been fully potty trained. She’ll go a couple hours fine but will go inside in front of you. They have always been inside dogs without messes as long as they were let out every couple hours. Other wise I kenneled them. They know several commands and are very loyal. They tolerate cats. They stay away from them. They do great at the dog park! However if not taken out for a while they will act leash aggressive. But the more they are out the better they get. Whenever they act up I stick them in a dog park and it normally helps. They think they are tough until they are thrown to the “wolves” lol My heart breaks as I’ve had the mom 6 years and the baby 3 years. I was on track to buy a house and then covid happened I lost my job. So now we are all suck in a 600 square foot apartment. I would like they to stay together. They are GREAT guard dogs but adjust if you tell them the people are okay. Rehoming fee applies. They are great around chickens as well! They also love to swim and won’t run off when taken off the leash to go swimming.
