$20 per person Sommelier guided wine tasting and appetizer buffet $20 per person- Includes a sommelier guided wine tasting and appetizer buffet Hosted by Impact Staging and Design About Disconnect by Design: WHY WE EXIST: Disconnect by Design was founded on the belief that every person, no matter their circumstance, should have access to environments that support wellness and provide a safe and peaceful environment to thrive. Design is a transformational tool. Our surroundings directly impact how we feel, react, aspire, and engage. Spaces of hope, togetherness, dignity, and comfort are foundations for nurturing growth and healing. HOW WE DO IT: We put the power of pro bono design work into action. We tap into local construction talent and utilize donated Furniture Fixtures and Equipment to enhance nonprofit spaces and homes of the sick and less fortunate, giving them the platform to heal and grow. We collaboratively design spaces with volunteers that pinpoint the needs of each organization. HOW WE WORK: It starts with a team. Interior designers, architects, creatives and other professionals willing to donate time to create healing environments for our grant recipients. Manufacturers, vendors, craftsmen, clients, and the public provide furnishings and materials that are reused in the spaces. Individuals and community advocates come together to execute greatness in design.
