Maintenance Production Manager Wage Range: Top Pay (Hourly or Salary) Depending on Experience The Position: The Maintenance Production Manager is a core management position within our company. A Production Manager supervises and manages team leaders as they work with their teams to provide exceptional care to our customer’s properties. The Production Manager is involved in recruiting, selecting, training, developing, coaching, and mentoring of all Team Leaders and their teams. The Production Manager is involved with the planning, coordination, and control of company’s field production processes. They ensure that services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. The Production Manager schedules and directs personnel and resources towards providing quality, safe, and cost-effective service to clients. High Payoff Activities: They can manage up to 10 persons directly and 40 persons indirectly. They manage all activities involving landscape maintenance services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality service delivery. The Production Manager plans and monitors the pacing of the completion all services on time and on schedule. They maintain customer service that is dependable, predictable, and reliable. They manage budgeted and actual direct & indirect labor hours. They are also responsible for the purchase and use of materials by their teams. The Production Manager manages payroll dollars and hours to stay within the projected budget. Additional Responsibilities: The Production Manager works closely with the administration and sales team to ensure good flow of communication and data. They contribute to company sales through lead generation, account management and maximizing upsell opportunities when they are present. This person will also be an expert in every skill needed by their teams and will work in the field as needed when the company has a lack of workers and/or workers are not available Key Performance Metrics: Quality, Quantity, Safety, Labor Management, Payroll Management, Employee Development & Employee Retention Reports to: The Production Manager reports directly to the General Manager/President. Education, Experience & Expectations: The Production Manager must possess a valid Driver’s license and maintain a good driving record. A qualified candidate should have minimum of 8 years of hands-on field experience with 3-5 years of prior management and supervisory experience and/or a two or four year degree in a landscape related degree, general degree with coursework in the landscape field or certification by a landscape association is preferred.
