Description
No part of me wants to do this but going active duty in the Army leaves me without many options for my babies, these girls are my best friends.
Astrid: this black and white, 35 lb, border collie/German shepherd mix is a 5 (approximately) year old girl who was wandering around Greeley, CO and I took her in to try and find her owner. She has no microchip and nobody reached out so I gave her a good home. She loves humans, and will do anything to please her person. She will be happy forever if she has lots of human cuddles, long walks, and squirrels to chase. She doesn’t play fetch or play with toys as she is very human oriented. Not fixed.
Scarlet: this blonde chihuahua/papillon mix is a 15 lb, 3 year old baby with a lot of bold, feisty, personality. She is super sweet and cuddly with her humans (although scared of certain men), and loves children. She can be leash aggressive towards other dogs so I hold her close when we pass other dogs (she believes she’s the biggest and the baddest out there). Although hesitant at first, she gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. Her and Astrid quickly became best friends. She loves her toys. She is fixed.
I would love for these two to go to a home together as they are well bonded but I understand that may not be possible. I will ask for proof that you have a well established family/home/backyard. Thank you for your time, feel free to text me.
